Feroce Caffè

Drawing inspiration from Rome’s beloved caffè culture.

With airplane hangar doors opening onto 28th Street, Feroce Caffè and pasticceria draws inspiration from Italy’s beloved caffè culture—a daily ritual that spills out into the streets, with neighbors catching up over a traditional colazione all’italiana—Italian-style breakfast. In addition to authentic Italian espresso, cappuccino, and other coffee and tea drinks, Feroce Caffè serves freshly baked Cornetti; delicate pastries; a variety of egg dishes like Frittatta and Scrambled Eggs on Toast; and classic Italian and American sweets like Torta Della Nonna and Chocolate Chip Cookies.

ITALIAN-STYLE BREAKFAST

Feroce Caffè shows New Yorkers how to start their day with an Italian-style breakfast. That might mean a cappuccino with a Cornetto or an espresso followed by freshly baked Pizza Bianca.

LUNCHTIME

Grab a quick midday espresso with some lunch like our freshly made Pizzette Romana, or grab a seat and order from our full lunch and dinner menu from Feroce Ristorante in the Caffè along with a selection of Italian cocktails wines and beers.

THE SPACE

Airplane hangar doors can be raised all the way up, opening the space entirely to the sidewalk, creating a breezy interplay with the street life inspired by Italy’s beloved caffè culture. Feroce Caffè’s design embodies Roman architectural history, botanical references, and Italian modernism—with an playful twist. The caffè walls are lined with aperitivo and digestivo bottles and glass apothecary jars filled with colorful Italian candies; glass cases display a selection of fresh-baked pastries.
