Q: Where is Moxy Chelsea located?
A: We’re located in the heart of Chelsea’s Flower District on 105 West 28th Street just steps away from 6th Ave.
Q: What time is check-in and check-out?
A: Check-in is at 4pm and check out is at 12pm.
Q: Does Moxy Chelsea offer early check-in?
A: Early check-in is available based on availability. If early check-in is confirmed, a $50 fee will apply. Please contact the Front Desk on the day of arrival to inquire.
Q: Does Moxy Chelsea offer late check-out?
A: Late check-out is available based on availability and may incur an additional fee of $75. Please confirm with the Front Desk on the day of departure.
Q: Can I have visitors during my stay?
A: All visitors of hotel guests must be registered at the hotel. If you would like to register a visitor, please visit the Front Desk and show proof of ID.
Q: Is there WiFi access at Moxy Chelsea?
A: Yes! We offer furiously fast and free WiFi hotel-wide (and of course in all guest rooms).
Q: Is parking available?
A: Yes! Valet parking is available at the rate of $85 per day for regular sized vehicles and SUVs. Please allow 45-60 minutes for your car to be retrieved upon departure.
Q: Does Moxy Chelsea store luggage?
A: Yes storage is available – just ask our crew for more details when you check-in.
Q: Does Moxy Chelsea have a restaurant?
A: Yes, we have 4! Check out Dine + Drink to learn more about Café d’Avignon Popup, The Lobby Bar, Moxy Afterdark and The Fleur Room.
Q: Does Moxy Chelsea have a fitness center?
A: Yes. Our fitness center is available for hotel guests 24 hours a day.
Q: Does Moxy Chelsea have a rooftop?
A: Yes! Located on the 35th floor, The Fleur Room features panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline, creative cocktails, lite bites, and a lounge area complete with a DJ booth and a massive vintage disco ball that once graced the famous LA club Vertigo. Fun fact: The lounge’s glass walls descend at the touch of a button, transforming the space into an alfresco sky veranda.
Q: What is Moxy Chelsea’s smoking policy?
A: No butts about it, Moxy Chelsea is a smoke-free environment. Don’t be a rule breaker—smoking in your room will result in a daily $500 fine.
Q: Can I get packages sent to Moxy Chelsea?
A: Yes. If an item is found in your room after check-out, we are happy to ship it back to you for a $20 handling and shipping fee. Once confirmed, the fee will be charged to the card on file.
Q: Does Moxy Chelsea mail back lost property?
A:Yes. Guests can accept/receive packages at the hotel. Packages are charged at $5 per package. Please ensure the package is delivered within the week of your arrival.
Q: Can I bring my pet?
A: Yes! Sorry cat lovers, dogs only. There is a $50 daily fee for one dog, per room (maximum you’ll pay is $150), and a maximum size of 20lbs. So your mastiff is going to have to stay at home.

Q: What events happen at Moxy NYC Chelsea?
A: Moxy Chelsea hosts a rotating lineup of experiences including Live music, Magic Shows, Drag Bingo, rooftop fitness, and collaborations with local artists. Check the programming calendar at check-in or visit our calendar page for upcoming events.
Q: Is Moxy Chelsea family-friendly?
A: Yes. Moxy Chelsea welcomes guests of all ages. The hotel offers a vibrant social atmosphere while remaining a comfortable home base for families visiting New York City.
Q: I need something extra for my room — what should I do?
A: Look for our Stash closets located on each floor near the elevator landing. Simply swipe your key card for access to items such as extra towels and shower amenities.
Q: What airports are nearby?
A: We are in close proximity to the three major New York/New Jersey airports, including John F. Kennedy, LaGuardia, and Newark airports.
Q: Is there an airport shuttle from Moxy Chelsea?
A: Moxy Chelsea does not provide a dedicated airport shuttle. Guests may arrange transportation via taxi, rideshare services, or public transportation. Our crew is happy to assist with directions. Our Front Desk team can assist with arranging private car service to and from the airport. Pricing varies based on the selected airport, number of passengers, and amount of luggage. Please contact the Front Desk for current rates and availability.
Q: How do I get to Moxy Chelsea?
A: Planes: Shuttle service and trains to EWR, JFK, and LGA are available from Penn Station, a 5-minute walk from the hotel. NYC Yellow Taxis and Ubers will take you to and from JFK. Trains: The B, D, F, M, N, Q, R, and W lines are located a few blocks away via Herald Square (34th Street & 6th Ave.). Automobiles: To arrange a car service, please contact the front desk—or do it the local way and whistle for a yellow cab over on 6th Ave.!
Q: What’s included in the Moxy Chelsea Destination Fee?
A: Daily enhanced WiFi, with additional benefits available for Gold+ Marriott Bonvoy members! Daily $20 food & beverage credit available for redemption at Café D’Avignon, Moxy Afterdark and The Lobby Bar (Please note: This credit cannot be used at Fleur Room or for in-room dining). Daily Choice of 2 Tickets; Select either The Museum of the City of New York or New York Freedom Liberty Cruise
